A MANCHESTER MARKET.
The communication read at the meeting of the QMaisterton A. and P. Association on Saturday from the Superintendent of the Manchester Ship Canal Company is of vital importance to the (producers of this country. Hitherto nearly the whole of the produce eggs of New Zealand have been in l the Landon Iba&ket, with what result is best known to the producers themselves. If, as is alleged, Manchester is a -more economical distributing centre than London, the. possibility of doing business with this port should at once be discussed. There are difficulties in the way, which chiefly concern shipping and agents, but there appears to be no good reason why these should not be overcome.
