METHODIST UNION.
The report of the Conference which has been sitting at Wellington this week indicates that there is every prospect of a union between the Methodist and Primitive Methodist Churches of the Dominion ibecoming an accomplished fact. The basis 'of an agreement has been unanimously decided upon,' and this will require only to be ratified by the respective 'bodies. It would seem as though there is a growing desire among the Nonconformist Churches of the Dominion for a general amalga, mation, land if this could be attained, the strength of the Nonconformists would he immensely increased.
