MARTINBOROUGH (5) v. ST MATTHEW'S (1).
Tlie Martinborough Juniors defeated St. Matthew's at Greytown, by 5 goals to one. There was no referee, and the match was merely a scramble from beginning to end. The goal for St. Matthew's was scored by Cowper. DALEFJELD (4) v. EXCELSIOR (1) Excelsior were defeated by Dalefield at Carterton by four goals to one. • LADIES' MATCHES. KIA TOA (2) v. RAMBLERS (0). A very close game resulted between Ramblers (Masterton) and KiaToa* (Greytown), at Lansdowne. The Ramblers played with two emergencies, but they put up a great fight. The game was very even, and some good hockey was witnessed. Misses K. and N. O'Leary did good work for their team, and Miss C Eaisthope also .put in some useful play. The first half ended with no score, but in the second half the visitors shot two goals, thus winning the match. KIWI (5) HINEMOA (0). At Carrdngtan ' Park, Carterton, yesterday afternoon, the Dalefiatd' Kiwi Ladies' Olub defeated the Hinemoa Olub by 5 goals to nil.
