FEILDLNG, Last Night. ■Sergeant Bowden, in his annual report to the Groua Licensing Bench, ' stated that, with a population of 10,698 in the electorate, there ware. 44 convictions for drunkenness in' * • the past-year, and of these 37-were persons from other centres. No females were airrested for drunkenness or for any other charges. No prohibition order had been issued against a female. The liew Licensing Jogi'slaition preventing persons under 21 years of age being served with liquor was having a most beneficial- effect. Tli© whole district had: a wliiolesome record. ;
