The representative attendance at the meeting of citizens, an Masterton last; evening was a ■ striking tesfcLmonv to the loyalty of*the people, and an emphatic endorsement of the opinions expressed in these columns as to the general wish for a public celebration on the occasion of the .Coronation of His Majesty the King. The enthusiasm with which the project has been taken up, and the definite aairangements made last night, are in them- ; selves a guarantee .that the celebration will be a pronounced success,-, and an event which will leave a lasting impression on the minds of younig and old alike.
