LONDON, June 6
An Englishman, travelling in Albania, writes to the Morning Post stating that tho Turks are burning houses at Skreli and Kostrati wholesale, and aged and infirm peasants are being incinerated. Eight insurgents, hearing the mad shrieks of the wounded for help, descended a hill at Kostrati to the rescue. The artillery turned on them, and six were killed. Two women and their children were incinerated. Being Moslems, they did not consider it necessary to fly. and they were mistaken for Christians. The writer adds that there are many thousands of destitute women and children at Podgoritga.
