OBITUARY.
MR WILLIAM BLINKHORNE. The death occurred in Wanganui on Saturday morning, of another old identity of Masterton, in the person of Mr William Blinkhorne. The deceased, who was born at Dudley, Worcester, came to Masterton thirty-eight years ago, and lived for many years on a small farm near the Masterton railway station. He was a prominent member of the Foresters and Druids Orders, haying filled the highest offices ( in both. He was also one of the founders of the Juvenile Court of Foresters. The deceased was seventyfour years of age, and a widower, his wife having predeceased him a vQ&f or two back. He had been suffering for some timo with hia heart, and his death, was due >to heart'..diseijjße: Latterly he had been living with iKis son Alonzo in Wanganui. He is survived by, two sons—Mr J. K. Blinkhorne, of Masterton, aftd Mr A. Blinkhorne, of Wanganui. The remains will be brought to Masterton for interment, and will leave the railway station for the local cemetery on arrival of the train from the north tomorrow (Tuesday) afternoon.
