PALMERSTON STOCK SALE

PALMERSTON N., Last Night.
Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report: —At our Palmerston sale on Thursday, the Ist inst., a small yarding of all classes of stock met with very little inquiry. Sales were made at the following quotations:—2-tooth wethers, 10s 7d to 10s 9d; light fat ewes, lis lid; cull ewes, in lamb, 5s id; good wether lambs, 7s; springing cows £4 4s 6d to £6; spYinging heifers, £6 to £8 10s; fat heifers, £6 6s; forward cows, £4 4s 6d to £4 17s; weaner steers, 26s 6d.
