The first match of the season for the Pearson Challenge Shield will take place on the x'ark Oval to-mor-row, between Post and Telegraph (holders) ' and Excelsior (challengers.) Both teams have teen, training well, and the match wall probably prove to lie the best played in Ma.sterton this season. The teams will be as follow : i EXCELSIOR. Goal, Hall; full backs, W. Williams and G. Thynne; halves, L. Nicol, G. Sorimgeour, and Barr; bully, Byra; im.side right, C. Ashley; outside right. Tori Ratima; inside left, A. Williams; outside right, C. Smith.. POST AND TELEGRAPH. Goal, E. Clarke; full backs, S. Hunter and N. Williams; halves, T. Hanley, A. Eddy and T. Miller; bully D. Loader; inside right, W. J. Jackson; outside right, V. M. Richards; inside left, R. E. Williams ; outside left, D. Diggins.
