LONDON WOOL SALES. | MAY SERIES. Dalgety and Company, Limited, have been advised by cable from their London office, dated 26th instant, that the May sales have closed. The i closing rates are rather firmer than j those ruling at the finish of the March I series. Merino Wools.—Greasy, par to 5 per cent lower; good to tine quality, scoured are unchanged. Medium and inferior qualities, scoured, are 5 per cent lower. Short wool faulty scoured, 5 per cent to 10 per cent lower. Crossbred Wools.—Greasy, fine qua]-.' ity, 5 per cent lower; medium quality, ' par to 5 per cent lower; coarse, par] to 5 per cent higher; scoured, 5 per cent lower. ' ; Distribution.—The' total nett quan- i tity available amounted to 206,000 bales. 2,000 bales were sold to America; 95,000 bales were sold for' Home consumption; 70,000 bales were sold ;.to the Continent;- and 39,000 bales .were carried forward. Twenty-six thousand bales were not offered in the sale. AUCKLAND SHARE MARKET. Mr J. T. Hendry, sharebroker, of Auckland (in coniunction with Messrs C. C.
