Immense excitement is being manifested in France over the aeroplane" race.
A terrific crush at Lyons caused the death of a soldier and two women. Vidart missed the aerodrome afc ; Lyons, which was the stopping place. Rockets failed to attract his attention. LeGalaux and Hanriot mounted a monoplane and pursued and brought Vidart back.
Beaumont has reached Nice, winning the £2OOO. Garros was the second one to reach Nice.
