A MIXED MARRIAGE.
"■•AUCKLAND, Last Ndght. At the Police Court this morning, a. middle-&ged .w/mian, a native of India, sought from Her English husband, John Lupton, oh the ground that he always wanted to kick her out. They were married' in Suva, explained the husband. He took her on a five years' contract from the Government, and paid £lO odd for the privilege. They could not live togetiher, because they disagreed on everything. Neither of the parties had any desire live together. Tile Magistrate made an order of maintenance for 12s a week. There were no children of the marriage.
