Wakeman,' of Pahdatua, is to be tested by the Agrictilbura] Department this year at the Euakura and Tauranga Experimental Farms. The seed, by the way, is not known to commerce, and, therefore, lias not been under cultivation. Mr Wakemaai, howevea-, has been (successful in saving seed, and) all he has secured this season he has handed l to the Department for experimental purposes.
