A BIG LAND DEAL
SALE OF THE "BROOKLANDS" ESTATE. Mi- W. H. Gruiokshank, land agent, of Masterton, reports having sold (in conjunction with Mr J. D. OruicJcshank, of Wellington), Mr H. Burling'is "Broobland" estate, situated at Alfred/ton, >w>mprising 5730 acres, together witih. 8500 sheep, 500 head of cattle, and plant, Mr 0. C. Cooper, of Maserton, being tlie purchaser. The estate is one of the host sheep stations in the Alfred-ton dfetriot, having been farmed by the present owner for years.
