A fight for the welter weight professional champion ship of the - Do- I minion between Murphy and Doss Bums took place to-night, at Wanganui, at .the Wanganui Association tournament.,. Murphy was cautioned several times in thd fiftst ■ round for holding. He continued. i these tactics in the second round, and the referee, Dir Napier McLean, disqualified him, and awarded J the fight to Burns. Morris beat Began on points- in four rounds in the welter contest.
