ATTEMPTS AT LYNCHING.
ONE NATIVE KILLED

CAPETOWN, May 23
An organised attempt was made at Port Elizabeth to lymch a native guilty of criminal assault on a girl. The police at Bergville, Natal, frustrated an attempt at lynching a native for attempting to criminally assault two ladies.
Lewes, a leading citizen of Buluwayo, killed, a native wiho was accused of indecency towards his little girl.
