PAHIATUA STOCK SALE
Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held their weekly stock sale in their Mahgahao yards ; on the. 23ird inst., when they offered a s/mall yarding of both, sheep and cattle. Bidding was more spirited than for some weeks past, and we are able to report a total clearance, with the exception of one small pen of weaners. Quotationis are ais follows: Mixed lamths, 5& 6d to 6s; empty ewes to 6s 6d; 2-tooth wethers, lis 3d; weaner calves, 16s 'to y .235; store- cows, £8 15s; dairy cows, £5 10s to £6; dairy heifers, £3 1.5s to £' } ss;. bulls, £3 10s.,
