Patrons of Messrs Thompson and Payne's cosy little electric elysium iai Queen Street ihave long since ceased tfco -marvel that such, varied and complete programmes, changed twice a week, cam be presented. Last nighrfc'is new , budget which was presented to a large audience, demonstrated that, as usual, the world had been .searched for interesting descriptive films and the best of histrionic talent called in to aid (the camera in presenting drama and: comedy. Drama® of all description were shown, all having fascinating features. "The Jewel Mystery" waiS an exciting detective story' in whfiah Pinkerton, the great American "manJraniter," took the leading part. '' 'A Cowboy's- Vindication 5 ' is a splendid! Wild West drama, while "A Sad Fascination" is a pathetic subject, and "The Son of a Doge,'.' a fine story of Venice. A beautiful picture entitled "The Poetry of tihe Lake" gave, a series of pretty views. .Ail insitructive lesson was contained in the film "In Kouang" Toung, China." The "Qaumont Graphic" contains all the latest Home and foreign news, as well as a number" of good views. The comics were a capital lot, especially "Babylas as a Fireman," this being one of the best pictures of its class seen in Masterton for a long time. This excellent prograimime will be repeated.to-might, and patrons are advised not to miss it:
