ST. MATTHEWS NEW CHURCH.
AN ARCHITECT APPOINTED. At a meeting last night of St. Mat-' thew'is Vestry, Mr C. J. Moruntford, the well-known .architect of Christohurch, was appointed architect for the new church, which it is (proposed to erect in Masitefton. TEho estimated cos* of iha building is £6OOO. It is expected thlat plans- will he ready in the course of a month or two, and that the work of erection' will shortly be put in hand.
