AMUSEMENTS.
THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES. ! J There was another good audience at the Foresters' Hall last evening, to witness the current programme of excellent pictures. The "star" picture was "Franks Gardiner, Bushranger," depicting all the notable incidents in the life of Australia's most notorious ibuslhranger. The films are very clear, and keep the audience deeply interested throughout. The picture is certainly one of the finest things in cinematography Messrs Thompson and Payne have placed before a Masterton audience. In addition a number of other capital subjects are .shown, including the following:— "His Trust" and "His Trust Fulfilled" (a delightful drama and its sequel; 1 'Love, Luck and Gasoline" ■(a splendid Yitagraph comedy drama), ''Lifp of a Salmon," "The Bygland Fjords," "Over Mountain Sledge," etc. The programme will be repeated for the last time to-night.
