THE KAISER ENTERTAINED

LONDON, May 18
The Kaiser was Lord Haldane'.s guest at luncheon to-day, and there met Lord Kitchener. Lord Morley, Generals French and Hamilton, Admiral Wilson, and Mr Ramsay Macdonald.
He afterwards visited the picture galleries and Zoological Gardens, and received a remarkable public welcome.
The Kaiserin visited the German Hospital, and her daughter, the Tower of London, St. Paul'?, and other sights. CROWDS OF VISITORS. (Received May 19, 8.25 a.m.) LOBNDON May 18. Newspapers state that there are unusual crowds already thronging London. Larger contingents of foreigners ara. present than in former great years. . MR FISHER VISITS SCOTLAND. (Received May 19, 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, May 18. The Hon. Andrew Fi her, Commonwealth Prime Minister, was accompanied on his 'visit to Scotland by his wife and son and Sir Georg© Reid i (High Commissioner for the CommonI wealth) and Mr Keir Hardie (Labour M.P. for Merthyr Tydvil). Mr Fisher was welcomed at Glasgow by the Provost and councillors, Minors' Executive and leading citizens. The party motored through thy country associated with the name of Robert Burns, the Scottish poet, and Ayr. They viiited Mogiel and inspected tho manuscripts of thu famous poet in tho museum there, ard had luncheon at the "Auld Brig O'Doon.''
