MAFEKING DAY.
PRESENTATION TO BADEN POWELL.
(Received Last Night, 11 o'clock.) | LONDON, May 19.
Mr McCall, Agent-General for Tasmania, at the reception to Sir Edward Lewis, Premier, handed to MajorGeneral Baden Powell a presentation subscribed by Boy Scouts of Tasmania. In doing so he recalled, the fact that the day of the.presentation was Mafekmg Day.
Major-General Baden Powell thanked Mr McCall for the presentation, and accepted an invitation to visit Tasmania.
