CLASHING OF DATES.
Ait yesterday's meeting c: tlie Wairaraipta P. and A. Society, a letter was read from the Masterton Racing COiub, istat/ing tlhiat it bad decided upon the dates October 26th' and 27(th as the days of rtheir meeting, and hoped that the society's dates would not clash. This letter was written on April 10th. The. secretary of the Society had replied to the effect that tihe society's show dates had been, fixed immediately after last show for October 25th and 26jth, and. therefor© if the Racing Club held to its dates,' its first day's racing would fall on tlie second o> People's Day of the show.
