CONFLICTING NAMES.
PALMERSTON N., Last Night
At the Borough Council meeting a request wa© received through the Postal Department for Paimerstdn (Otago), asking that, the name of Palmerston. North i,be , changed to avoid confusion. The Council resolved against any change of name hrre on /the grounds of a dislocation of business, but suggested that Palmers*on South .should chance its name.
