TARIFF REFORM INCUMBENT.

LONDON, May 18

The Earl of Minto, speaking at the | meeting of the Central Asian Society, said the future of India largely depended upon what could be done for the development of Indian industries. If they wanted to create great industries, some form of tariff reform was necessary. Strong opinions to this effect would be forthcoming from India in the future.
