People Who have a sense of the fitness of tilings are beginning to enquire the- intentions of the Government oonoeming the Legislative Council. There are two or three members of that body who thtave no moral right to occupy seats in the Chamber. Yet, they continue to draw nearly £2O a month each from the coffers of the State, and to exercise the privilege of travelling free upon tihe railways of the Dominion. If there is no power under the Legislature Act .to unseat these gentlemen, the Government should at least express an opinion upon the subject.
