THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES. A SPECIAL "ATTRACTION. Despite the weather and counterattractions last night, there was a good attendance at the Foresters' Hall. To-night there will be a special attraction in the new programme, viz., "The Life of Frank Gardiner, Bushranger." This picture is 4000 feet long,, and in a fascinating and realistic manner gives the life history of the notorious Australian King of the E,oad in the '6o's. All through the .picture is most interesting and exciting, and the" photography is excellent. When shown recently in Australia, the picture caused a sensation, and was generally admitted to be the greatest drama of its kind ever attempted. Supporting this star picture are the following:—"The Pirates of 1920" (a forecast of the wars of the future, with realistic naval and aerial effects), "His Trust and "His Trust- Fulfilled" (a capital drama and its sequel), "Love, Luck andl Gasoline" (a Vitagraph sensation), "Two Boys in Blue" (a Selig comedy-drama), "A Dull Raz'or," "The.Bygland Fjords," and ' 'Ma-in-law Goes Skating."
