T V HOSTILE DEMONSTRATION
(Received Last Night, 9.30 o'clock.) CAPETOWN, May 17.
Five thousand were present at a demonstration at Port. Eliaabeth in connection with the criminal assault of si girl on a lonely road.
A native was arrested. An excited meeting was held, and numerous natives were ejected. A resolution was enthusiastically carried prohibiting natives from being at larg" at night.
