A DAIRY EXPERT.
; TO BE SENT TO'LONDON. (By Telegraph—Pre.'s Association.) PAHIATUA, Last Night. ; A deputation representing the National Dairy Association recently waited on the Minister of Agriculture (Hon. T. Mackenzie) to urge, that the Government should se"d nn expert, to London to protect the interests of the New Zealand Dairy Complies and enquire into the complaint of'fishinesi in New Zealand butter, and also why our bujbter did not fetdh a higher pric«. The Minister oppressed himself in, favour of sending.'an expert home and* to-day,he telegraphed to Mr A. McFarlane. of Pahiatua, President of the National Dairy Association, stating that Cabinet had approved of hi' recommendation that an expert should ho sent to London.
