TRUST LANDS TRUST.
The public of Masterton does not, a* a rule, manifest a keen interest in the affairs of ..the .Trust Lands Trust. The result is that the annual i.r-et>t-' ings of voters are more- or less formal matters. It is to be hoped that the .meeting to-night will (prove an exception to the rule. The policy of the Trust is to be traversed by one of the members, and an interesting discusvsion should ensue. The opinion generally entertained is that the speculative policy of the Trust, if pursued in a ' business-like manner, is a good one for the town. At the same time, it is well Uhat the voters should know how long this policy is to continue, and at what date some definite project- will be outlined which will produce a permanent educational benefit to the town.
