FFRTHER DETAILS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. Details of the Dominion finances for the year ended March 31st, 1911, appear in yesterday's Gazette. The principal items were made public by the Hon. J. A. Millar at Dunedin last Tuesday, but these may be supplemented a little. The Naval Defence Act account shows that £1,120,258 has been received of the loan of £1,250,000. The authorised expenditure has totalled £589,289, and the loan charges were £431, leaving a balance of £630.529. The Native Land Settlement accounts shows that £181,600 was re- ■ ceived from the State.Guarantee and Advances Office. The authorised amount expended under the Act was £135.334. After providing for a sinking fund there is a balance of £-14,322 in hand far the Settlement accounts. The principal receipts were: Balancer, at the. beginning of the venr £202,385, rents, • etc., from estates, £271.199. making a total of £663,640.' ; The amount naid : during the year in the purchase of estates was £158,796. The expenses connected with these and oth"v estates previously purchased amounted to £16,720. The interest paid to the consolidated fund in respect of debentures issued absorbed £224,037, and the sinking fund £55,079, being a balance at the end of the year of £53.397, the principal estates purchased and the amounts paid were:—"Allanholm." £24,150; "Aviemore." £950; "Clandrboye." £14,476; "Clandebove" No. 2, £8192; "Dravton," £21,296;, "Hornby," £3695; "Kohika" No. 2, £6397: "Meadows." £13.651; "Ruapunn." No. 2, £39,822; "Stoke." £18,137; "Waiakakruru" No. 5, £6522.
