STUMPING THE COUNTRY
Received This Morning,- 1.10 o'clock OTTAWA, May 9.
The Hon. Jfa' Feilding lias denied the press reports pulhlished in London to the effect tliaifc' Germany is negotiating with Canada, for a reciprocal .trade agreement.
Mr Borden, Opposition leader, will tour the Prairie Province on the reciprocity issue during the summer months.
The indioationsa re that a. general election will he held in the autumn.
Mr Fielding declared that the London nressnro had induced Sir Wilfrid Laurier to adiourn, Parliament in ord°r to attend the Imperial Conference.
