AN ORDER OF NURSES
(Received Last Night, 11.5 o'clock.)
CAPETOWN, May 8.
Viscountess Gladstone, through the Press and local authorities throughout South Africa, is appealing for £IOO,OOO with which to establish an order of nurses as a memorial to the late King Edward VII. The coloured and native subscriptions will be kept separate, and devoted to the training of coloured and native nurses at Lovedale, Cape Colony.
