The acceptances are 'Satisfactory. For the chief event—the Hawke's Ray Cup—there wall probably bo seven or eight starters. Woodhey, wfho suddenly struck form on the second day of the Wellington, meeting, will be strongly famxaed locally, though the Karamu represenftativiei has some fairly , good ones to meet. Boanerges will not compete at the Hawke's Bay meeting, having bruised his heel.
The weights for the Tabapuna J.C. winter meeting were declared yesterday.
