PRESIDENT DIAZ' RESIGNATION.
NO ALTERNATIVE OFFERED,
(Received Last Night, 5.5 o'clock.) MEXICO CITY, May 7. It is untrue that there is a likelihood of a revolt in the capital. President Diaz, it is understood, is willing to resign when order is restored. The rebels have decided to attack Jaurez on Saturday or Sunday if no reply is received from President Diaz whether he will resign.
A REPORT CONFIRMED. Recieved This Morning, 12,30 o'clock. MEXICO CITY, May 7. Major Madero confirms the report that the 'armistice with President Diaz's forces ended in nothing definite regarding the President's retirement.
