Cooppr stated that it was a tare similar to that made on wool. Mr Falconer did not think they could Ho much in the matter. It was an old custom; and if it -was discontinued they would only got so much the less for their stock. * Mr Morrison,thought some explan- _' ation of the matter should lie given. The chairman suggested that the question should be discussed at the nextjneeting. This course was agreed to.
