CONVOCATION OF CANTERBURY. THE CORONATION COMMISSION. (Received Last Night, 10.45 o'clock.) LONDON, May 5. By two to one, the Lower House of the Convocation of Canterbury agreed ifchaifc celebrants, with the Bishop's consent, may, after once using the full words of administration, subsequently use the first half of the words to each individual. They also adopted a new rubric permitting consecrated elements to be taken from the open communion to sick persons' homes. The House laymen not to touch the prayer book. They suggest the appendix of special services in the Convocation. The Bishop of Winchester raised, as a point of urgency, a debate upon; the Bishop of Hereford's invitation to Non-Conformists to join in the Coronation Communion in the Hereford Cathedral. Tlie Bishop of Hereford defended himself. The Bishop of Canterbury disapproved of his action. The Lower House hotly discussed Hie subiect.
