SULLIVAN'S OFFER.
WON'T DO FOR ARNST. (Received Last Night, 9.35 o'clock.) SYDNEY, May 3. The London Sportsman states that Sullivan is willing to back Arnst against Barry for £SOO aside on the Thames, and to give Barry £2OO expenses. Arnst, referring to the report, declared that Sullivan had taken it upon himself to issue a challenge. He would not move out of Australia for £2OO expenses unless a gate of £4OO was guaranteed. Arnst says he wants £SOO. Anyhow, his hands are at present full in preparing for Pearce.
