HUKANUI.
At a meeting ' of the Hulianu: Football' Club, on Friday - evening, k was decided to hold a daiice in the Public Hall on Wednesday, 10th inst. An energetic committee has the! affair in hand, and given fine weather the dance should be a .success. The Hukanui football team for the coming sea&on is a strong one. I hear that a Hawke's Bay representative player is joining the team. Mr Griffin, who was thrown from his horse on Friday, had his left arm fractured, and also received a slight injuny to his back.
