FRENCH "BARONESS" ARRESTED
A DOUBLE LIFE. (Received May 1, .y a m ) PARIS, April 30. The "Baroness' de Chastot was arrested in a. dweller's shop, when a diamond ring was discovered adhering v to a drop of glue on the palm of her hand. The woman has, it is alleged, led a double life, Sometimes living in a flat as a poor milliner with a young daughter, and at others in a private mansion iin a fashionable quarter of Paris as a baroness.. From the mansion she motored daily to the principal shops. Large roooerics of lace and jewels are charged against her.
