TARATAHi STOCK SALE. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report haVaiig held their usual fortnightly sale in their Taratahi. yards yesterday. We report having had a very good yarding of both sheep and cattle, which came well above advertised numbers.. The cattle entry comprised all descriptions, which were keenly sought after, and spirited bidding was experienced right, through the sale. We also offered a number of hacks and harnes shoraes on account of a client, which were all bought under .the hammer at satisfactory prices. The sale on the whole was very good, practically every line being quitted under the hammer, and we are pleased. to report that prices showed a slight increase on late rates.' We quote as follows: Full mouth ewes, 7s 7d, 8s to. 8s lid; 4, 6 arid f.m. ewes'," to 8s Od; fat ewes, 10s 8d; woolly lambs, 6s 9d; calves, 13s, 14a, 225, 255, to 325; yearling steers, 35s to £2 16s; heifers in calf, £3 7s, £3 10s, £3 17s, to £5 6s; empty fat heifers, good quality, £5, £6 to £6 lis; fat oows, £3 10s, £4 Iro £5 7>s; store oows, £1 19s, £2 10s, £3 10s, £3 18s 6d to £4; cojvs in calf,'£3 14g, £3 16s to £4 ss; 3yr steers to £6 15s; pigs—slips, 6s 6d to 7s 6d.
