The Evening Post of last night says:— It is understood that there is {i probability of a new candidate coming forward for the Wairarapa electorate at the coming general elections in the person of Mr Mark Maxton, of Greytown, who, in a letter to a friend in Wellington, has expressed ■ his intention of standing.
