SERIOUS BURNING ACCIDENT.

AT MAURICEVILLE EAST. A serious burning accident occurred at Mauriceville East on Saturday afternoon, the sufferer being a little girl, eight years old, daughter of Mrs E. Jacobsen. *lt appears that during the time the mother was out milking, the child must have been standing with her back to the fire, when her clothes caught. She rushed out, crying frantically, to her mother, who experienced some difficulty in quenohing the flames, badly burning her own hands in the attempt. Queenie, the little girl, was badly burnt right up one side of the body, and is suffering a great deal from shock. ./Dr Pryor is in attendance.
