SECOND DAY'S PRACTICE. .'" The Wairarapa football clubs held their second practice of the season en Saturday afternoon, under very favourable weather conditions.; the grounds, however., were rather sodden as a result of the recen* rains. At Masterton, on the old Showgrounds, the Masterton and Red Star juniors played a friendly match The play clearly showed that the footballers h*d not yet got anything; like into match form, but a good practice game resulted. The score was in Masterton's favour, the latter having secured three tries to "Red Stars' nil. A scratch team from the Ihd Star Club journeyed to Carterton, whoie a team from the local Club defeated the visitors by 15 points .'o i\.
