Fair demand. Wheat.—We }uote per' quarter, New Zealand wheat, c.i.f., long-berried, 32s (3d; short-berried, 325. . Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having received the following cablegrams from their London office, dated 25th and 27th inst.: —Sheepskins. —Any change in price is in favour of sellers. Merino combing skins are Jd higher, and crossbred combing, fdto Jd per lb higher. Fine crossbreds show chief advance. Other descriptions are unchanged. Frozen meat;— Market is dull. Lamb is &d to Jd per lb lower, and mutton l-16d to 3-16 d lower. Beef is weak, but without quotable change, vTallow. — Prime mutton and prime beef tallows am 6d oer cwt higher. Good mutton tallow is unchanged. Low and inferior, descriptions generally are 6d per cwt higher. '
