LONDON BUTTER MARKET.
AUSTRALIA'S OUTPUT HEAVY.
It is well known that the quantity of Australasian butter received oni the London market this season is much greater than that received in any other season. The London house of a Wellington firm has sent the following advice on this matter:— "The quantity of butter received into London and afloat for that des* tination from Australasia for the season commencing July Ist up to March 7th, 1911, totals 1,892,000 boxes, as compared with 1,450,000 boxes for the corresponding period of last increase of 442,000 boxes. "In view, of these • heavy ship* ments'(added the communication) to the United Kingdom, prices which. obtained there this season may be considered fairly satisfactory.' 5
