MONEY WASTED.

The taxpayers of New Zealand would be astounded if they only knew the amount of money which was being squandered in so-called technical education. It may surprise people to know that scores, hundreds of young men and women are being educated in the cities and larger towns for trades and occupations fcr winch they are neither physically nor mentally lit. The whole business is being conducted in., a hapfeazai-d manner, without classification, correlation, or a proper regard for the requirements of the country. It is as well to speak plainly in this matter, for unless the position is speedily reviewed the result will be disastrous from both a national and financial standpoint.
