The Rev. A. Hodge, Meteorological Observer for Master ton, reports:— Reading at 9 a.m. on the 21st -for the previous 24 hours: Maximum temperature, 63deg., minimum temperature 56deg., showing a range of 7deg. only as against 22.2 on the : previous day. Thy maximum temperature is 1.3 low.or than during the t former 24, hours, while the minimum temperature shows 14.2 lower. The earth temperature is almost unchanged, being 59.3. 'Rainfall, 38 points.
