THE BOROUGH ELECTION.
[To The Editor.]
Sir, — I was pieased to notice "Worker's" letter in the columns of tli© Wairarapa Age yesterday morning, suggesting that the new aspiri ants for municipal honours should state their views from the public platform. 1 would, however, go one further and suggest that all the old Councillors who are seeking re-elec-tion should give an acoount of their' stewardship to the residents of the town. I venture to say that tlie Trust Lands Trust would be pleased to place the Town Hall at the disposal of the candidates. A ten minutes' speech from each aspirant would: give the burgesses a better opportunity of ascertaining the views of the candidates. 1 am, etc., ANOTHER WORKER.
