WEDDING BELLS.
ROSSITER—LAURY.
A quiet but pretty wedding was solemnised at the residence of the bridegroom's parents, Clareville, on Tuesday (writes our Carterton correspondent), when George, eldest son of Mr W. Rossiter, was united to Vera, youngest daughter of Mr W. It. Laury, of the Waikato.. The bride, who was given away by Mr W. Rossiter, looked becoming in a dress of white silk muslin, and wore the us J i ual veil and orange blossoms. She I was attended by Miss Eva Rossiter •in the capacity of bridesmaid, who' I was dressed in China silk. The ccreI mony was performed by the Rev. L. Thompson, of St. Andrew's Church. The bride received a handsome gold brooch, set with pearls, from the bridegroom, and he also gave a handsome charm pin to the bridesmaid. A reception was held subsequently when the Ufeual toasts were duly honoured. The young couple, who were the recipients of many congratulations in the form of useful presents, purpose -taking up their residence in the Waikato.
